Clovers For June

A one way mirror between reality and fictional turmoil.

An EP following up April In The Sun, Clovers For June moves the plot both in the meta-narrative aftermath of DAMNED IN LOVE & LIFE and the continuum within fiction from April In The Sun.

The fiction moves the plot inside of our protagonist, Abby's, dream/nightmare. Ending in tripling-down after her double-down on obsessing over one thing: June. While in reality, Albert and Markie - the people Abby and June are based on - work together on the first song of the EP and stay good friends.

I would really like to thank Markie for giving me the green light to continue this story within fiction, and for still being a good friend after the fiasco of DAMNED IN LOVE & LIFE, as well as for lending his voice, and approaching me for the idea of working on a project together.

Recorded through May and June, plotted through April - instantly after the release of April In The Sun - the EP's trajectory wasn't supposed to be connected to the story being built through-out the discography. Until Markie threw a bone at me early in May and it pretty much made it to what it is right now. Most of the songs recorded in May and then final touches through June. It was a time trial but I guess we made it with flying colors!

June, a month of love. Love, a definite double-edged sword.
